Challenge day
We had a fun maths challenging session - building greek temples focussing on measurement and angles. Well done to Year 5 for working well in teams and sharing their mathematical ideas. Great session.
(Remember there is no school tomorrow. Half term homework is Revision Revision Revision using the comprehension and Maths pack. Also remember to complete your Heracles story to a brilliant standard)

Creative Writing Project
Dear Diary ...
A brother and sister went on a day out with their family.
Tom really enjoyed the outing and wants to do it again, but Sara did not. Sara did not enjoy any part of the day out at all, apart from the lunch.
When they returned home, Tom and Sara each wrote about the day in their own diaries.
· Your task is to write 2 different short diary entries - Tom and Sara’s diary entries.
TARGET: Use interesting and adventurous VCOP (Highlight these)
Use your imagination to decide what Tom and Sara would each
write in their diaries. Think about…
where did they go?
what did they do/see?
