Year 5 Easter Homework

********************************************************************************* Our Summer term topic is the 'Glorious Geeky Greeks'. Carry out a research on Ancient Greece then create an artwork of own choosing that represent an aspect of the Ancient Greeks. The artwork is for display in our classroom to help shape our class into a Greek Theatre. Artwork must be vibrant and colourful. Remember to go for the WOW factor. Reading - Choose and read a novel over the easter break. Prepare a review on the novel and prepare to share the review on the first week back to school. All homework must be ready and in school by Tuesday 26th April. Have a funtastic Easter holidays *********************************************************************************

Earth and Space day

On Friday, we bring our Earth and Space topic to an end. So don't forget to come to school dressed to impress in Earth and Space gear. You can dress as an alien being or astronaut or a planet and prepare for Earth attack!!!

SCIENCE - Earth and Space


TASK: Design and create a board game on Earth and beyond. The aim of the game is to teach children of all ages about earth, sun, moon and beyond. The game must cover these - earth, sun, moon, shadows, planets, solar system, day and night, seasons.


You can work in small groups of no more than 4 to create the game.


The layout and design of the game is up to you but the game must have simple clear instructions at the back, of how to play it. (Counters and dice will be provided in school but any other playing equipment will have to be created by you)


This project must be completed and brought in on Monday 4th April
