2 Face's Of Bradley!!!!!!!!

This week in year 5 we have been doing some drama connecting with our book 'there's a boy in the girls bathroom'. Everybody had to pair up in partners.

In the role, we had a decision about who the good Bradley was and who the bad Bradley was. The good Bradley had to say something nice, and the bad Bradley said a nasty comment (the complete opposite). Afterwards we filmed each partners work, and here they are.

Conscience Alley!

This week in Year 5, we have been doing Role Play.

The Role Play is based on There's A Boy In The Girls Bathroom.

Zaynah, Tara and Alisha's play has been shown in Good works Assembly.

So has Lilly's and Jermaine's.

Zaynah was the Good Conscience, Coleen and Melinda, Tara was the Bad Conscience, and Lori

{Lori Loudmouth}, and Alisha was Bradley Chalkers, and a little of Melinda.

{she only said one line of Melinda}.Lilly was the Good Conscience, and Jermaine was the Bad Conscience.

It was a really good play...

Every one's play was good.We all really enjoyed acting, it was really fun.

We hope you all enjoyed watching the play in Good works Assembly, and on the blog!

BRADLEY DIARY!

This term in year 5, we have been focusing on a book called `There's a boy in the girls bathroom' by Louis Sachar. Bradley is the main character. We made diary's pretending we were Bradley. We have done 4 diary entries so far, and they are all fabulous. Bradley is a mean character so far in the book. Recently in the book he has tried to improve, but it all went terribly wrong (poor Bradley). Also Bradley is very lonely and only has stuffed animals as his friends.

The Bake and Take Sale.

Hey, on Monday 25Th January 2010, it's going to be the Bake and Take Sale... Time : 3:00pm {its going to last until all the cakes are gone}. What you have to do is to bring a cake, you can Bake it, or if you can't bake at home your more likely to buy some, and bring it to school on Monday 25Th January 2010.

Now the reason we are doing this is to raise money for the people in Haiti, after their disasteres earth quake. So come to the Main Hall, to taste the Delicious cakes, biscuits and cup cakes.
at a very cheap price and very tasty.

We hope you can make it, to the bake and take sale {remember it is for Haiti.
So why go to TESCO when you can go to the Bake and Take Sale in Glade Primary School.

Cold cold work.

This week in year 5 we have been super cold whilst doing WORK!!!...!!! but thanks to ventilation and heating, its H O T!. and we got bad news we .... we ... got NUMBER DAY!!!!! Just kidding its great news, except the wo...wo... work...

By the way parents, you better be prepared for the cold weather, but soon spring is gonna COME!
We have been having a great time, doing lots of number work, {maybe} we have been writing our names in CODES... And adding them up to see who's the cheapest, and who is expensive, so far so good Christopher is expensive, and Kam is the cheapest. You could try this at home. And right now we were doing a times table test. And we dressed like calculators because of the numbers...

WE hope you enjoyed number day, because we loved it well most of us, and thanks to the rain all the snow /ice is gone!!!!! but the cold isn't gone. We were doing Puzzle Time, each number has some initials after it. We had to work out what the initials mean as the numbers are the the clues. For example: 7 D in a W is 7 Days in a Week.. The good score is 12, but if we get them all right, - excellent indeed!!! And guess who won the award for the Ancient Greek project its [DRUM ROLL] it was Juan Rosero!! and Becky Condon!!!

And we hoped you enjoyed Number Day!

NUMBER FUN!

Today is number day!

We dressed up in numbers. We have done something called puzzle time. It was really complicated, but at the end we figured it out. It was all to do with maths. They were all codes.

This is an example; 7 D in a W- 7 Days in a Week! Most of them were more harder that the example.

This is a short video of peoples opinion.

The Vikings..

This week in year 5, we have been learning about the Vikings. And we found out that, the vikings horns on their helmets, are not real. Its just a Myth. Plus they have boats that are big enough to hold a hole army.

On their boats, they have statues of snakes, and dragons. We hope to learn more about them.

...Thank You...
